Are you an experienced service technician with experience in truck mounted aerial work platforms or mobile cranes, documented competence with high skill level hydraulics and electronic control systems? Do you like technical challenges, travelling – even with short notice – and perform your work with a high level of discipline? Are you capable to being a part of a team, yet able to work on your own, then we may have the job for you.

 

You will become a team member of a highly selective and exclusive small team of technicians that work on some of the worlds most advanced aerial equipment in close cooperation with our European and domestic factories. Your average day might involve trouble shooting of aerial electronics, hydraulics or performance issues either at a customer location or at our shop. Following training in both the US and overseas, you will be providing vital and paramount support to our customers technicians over the phone, via computer or in person. You will even be involved in the mounting process of our aerial work platforms to chassis as well as performing predelivery inspections and adjustments on new machines.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

 

  • Experienced in trouble shooting and repairing/servicing truck mounted aerial platforms made by Bronto, Palfinger or Ruthmann. Similar experience will be considered such as experience with other large aerial lifts, German manufactured cranes, or firefighting aerial devices.
  • Education or experience related to hydraulics or electronic control systems.

 

Required Experience/Qualifications:

 

  • Must be proficient in hydraulics and mobile machinery and/or aerial control electronics.
  • Able to read hydraulic and electronic schematics.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to travel overnight mainly in the US but occasionally to Canada, Mexico and Europe.

 

Helpful skills, but not required:

 

  • Bilingual English and Spanish.

 

Location:

Porter, Houston, Texas.

 

Travel:

 

  • Expect 50% travel on average, mostly within the US.
  • Must have a valid passport (or ability to get one) as you will be traveling in Europe for initial training as well as you may occasionally be sent to other international destinations.
